But that's the highlight reel.
Here's what actually happened.
I got into health the way most of us do... my own body was falling apart. Cystic acne. Insomnia. Anxiety that made my chest feel like a clenched fist. Doctors gave me a birth control pill that literally got recalled.
Cool. Super helpful.
So I did what any stubborn, data-obsessed person would do. I went and got certified myself. Studied everything I could get my hands on. Fell in love with functional health. And thought... "I could actually help people with this."
I had zero business training. None. My mom's a teacher, my dad's an engineer. Nobody in my family had ever run a business. But I never wanted anything to do with the 9-5 corporate world, so I decided this was my path.
And I did everything wrong.
I started by offering one-off sessions (quickly realized that wasn't going to work)
Then created multiple wellness packages (that helped but still wasn't it)
But my clients were all different types of people with different issues
Worked nights & weekends trying to master every single health condition
Felt like a jack of all trades, master or none
It messed with my confidence in a HUGE way.
I remember sitting in my garden one afternoon, crying to my partner Ryan, fully convinced it was never going to work. That I was never going to be successful. I was burnt out, working way too hard, and doing math on the back of a napkin trying to figure out how many clients I needed that month to pay rent.
Ryan looked at me and said,

Is this just another module-based group program?

How much time do I need to commit?
Most students spend about 5-10 hours per week on HCA... watching training, implementing what they learn, attending calls, and getting feedback on their work. Some weeks will be heavier (like when you're building your offer or writing your sales page). Some weeks will be lighter. The beauty of having recorded trainings plus live support is that you can flex around your schedule. If you have a full client load or a brick and mortar practice, you can absolutely make this work. You just need to protect a few hours a week to actually move things forward.
How long does it take to get results?
It depends on where you're starting. Students who come in with an existing audience, some kind of offer, and even a rough idea of their niche tend to see traction fastest...often within the first 2-3 months. If you're building from scratch, expect the first 6-months to be foundational work before the revenue starts flowing. Group coaching calls are on Tuesdays, rotating between 9 AM PST and 12 PM PST so different time zones get love. Co-working sessions are Wednesdays at 11 AM PST. The mindset and productivity call is the 4th Wednesday of each month at 1 PM PST. And the networking call switches up its day and time every month to accommodate different schedules and time zones. If you can't make a call live, every session is recorded and available as a replay... plus we have a private podcast feed so you can listen on the go.
